November 2018 Monument Valley, Navajo Nation I was trying to take a sunrise photo inside of the actual Monument Valley park, but it was closed down because a group of conspiracy theorists were trying to summon UFOs. I was pretty disappointed at the time, but in hindsight I ended up with this shot taken from the side of Forrest Gump's highway. Still, pretty bummed that I missed out on a chance to shoot First Contact.

January 29, 2017 Angels Landing, Zion National Park Utah My buddy James and I got a late start on our January hike up Angel's Landing and ended up getting some awesome late afternoon light on the cliffs down the canyon. Despite some snow on the narrow cliff trail and the descent by flashlight, Angels Landing remains one of those hikes everyone should experience at least once in their life.
