"I like big buttes and I cannot lie." November 2018 Monument Valley, Navajo Nation I was trying to take a sunrise photo inside of the actual Monument Valley park, but it was closed down because a group of conspiracy theorists were trying to summon UFOs. I was pretty disappointed at the time, but in hindsight I ended up with this shot taken from the side of Forrest Gump's highway. Still, pretty bummed that I missed out on a chance to shoot First Contact.
