I generally don't shoot in the middle of the day, but somehow this dramatic sky developed at the Canyon Junction bridge over the Virgin River. At sunset, dozens of photographers will line up on that bridge to shoot the red light that The Watchmen catches at the the other end of the canyon.

Buses pull up to this Colorado River overlook with dozens of tourists from around the world all day long, 365 days a year. Despite the crowds and infinite perspectives, photos just don't do the land justice.
