"This house is sick; it has cabin fever." October 10, 2017 Great Smoky Mountain National Park Tennessee It was raining, and I had to jump in and out of my car to try and keep my camera dry while reviewing shots to try and keep my camera from getting too wet.
"People complain about the Atlanta traffic, but they all slowly get over it." November 1, 2016 Atlanta, Georgia If you held a gun to my head and made me choose my single most favorite photo, it would probably be this one. It's not perfect. The more I look at it the more things I see that could be fixed. It's from a spot that everyone and their grandmother has shot. It's mine.
"Went to the highest mountain in Tennessee to get one last peak at the setting sun." October 9, 2017 Great Smoky Mountains National Park If there's a popular and cliche photo spot somewhere, you bet your ass that you'll find me posted up next to all the other tripods during my first day in a new area. I go to those places for two reasons: 1. You're pretty much guaranteed a keeper shot. but more importantly 2. You meet other people who like to shoot. Odds are those people have up to date local insight on other hot shooting spots. While you might leave with a decent photo, you will leave with intel that's just as valuable.
